Application

Can be used in a one or multi-layer system as a first or second

layer. Possible finishing:

  • Additional layer of Proteus Pro-Therm Cellular Glass adhered with adhesive to Proteus specification.
  • Adhered membrane (bituminous membrane, carrier membrane).

Description

Proteus Pro-Therm Cellular Glass consists of a Cellular Glass slab, the upper surface is unfaced.


The insulation is manufactured from specially graded recycled glass (≥60%) and natural raw materials which are available in abundant supply (sand, dolomite, lime). The product is totally inorganic, contains no ozone depleting propellants, flame resistant additives or binders. Without VOC or other volatile substances.

After categorisation, the specified materials can be processed again and utilised as components in creating Pro-Therm Cellular Glass. Alternatively, categorised materials, including those with adhesive, are appropriate for repurposing as aggregates in the creation of bricks, in civil engineering projects, road building, or as components in noise-reducing structures. When enhancing surfaces previously insulated with Pro-Therm Cellular Glass, it's feasible to apply an additional layer of Pro-Therm Cellular Glass over the existing one.
