Protectapeel Floordefend - Peelable Protective Covering

Protectapeel Floordefend is a breathable, composite floor protection system that bonds temporarily to most floors. This seamless, UV and weather-resistant covering is purpose-built to protect most floors through every stage of construction.

Protectapeel Floordefend is a glue-down protection system that prevents debris, spills, and construction damage from reaching concrete surfaces. It protects against abrasion, staining, scratching, oil, acids, water, welding splatter, rust, impact, and weathering. UV stable for 24 months, it’s certified antimicrobial (ISO 20743) and antifungal (ASTM G21), so crews can frame directly on top.

Applied as an adhesive-fabric composite, Floordefend dries tack-free in about 2 hours and cures in 12 hours for heavy traffic. Installation is simple – just one or two people, no special training, and no re-application like cardboard or films.

Early use saves time and money: protect concrete as soon as 10 days after pouring, polish before walls are up, and eliminate edging and rework. This speeds schedules, reduces costs, and improves finish quality.

Designed for safety, Floordefend meets NFS/ANSI slip-resistance standards. Its glued seams create a seamless, high-traction surface that won’t shift, slip, or cause trip hazards.

The adhesive won’t stain or discolour concrete and peels away cleanly, leaving surfaces ready for stains, densifiers, guards, or sealers. It also meets Class 1 fire and flame retardant standards BS 476-7, and NFPA 253.
