High performance, UV resistant breathable roofing underlay suitable for use behind partially open clad roofs or low pitched roofs.
Application
The suggested build up for exposed roof designs from inside to out would be insulation topped with plywood / OSB as a base.
Secondary layer:
A secondary layer of Powerlon® Eco would need to be installed for exposed roof designs. This secondary layer works as a double skin to protect from any drops of water that may penetrate the first layer. Use Powerlon N55 Glue to adhere the membrane to the base. Powerlon Nail Pads would to seal any nail holes made.
Powerlon UV Roof install:
Vertical battens would be installed with Powerlon® UV Roof on top, vertical battens are then installed for drainage purposes. Use Powerlon Nail Pads to seal. Horizontal battens can then be installed with the decorative wood cladding installed to complete the project.
Space between Powerlon® UV Roof and Powerlon® Eco is needed to let any water drain away.
