Application

Powerlon® UV 145 FR façade membrane for installations behind open or closed ventilated rainscreens and façades on vertical walls.

Storage and handling:

Store the membrane horizontally away from sunlight in a cool, dry sheltered store.

Installation:

Ensure that the membrane is not creased or folded. In case of corners, loosely install the membrane around the corner or make a well-sealed butt joint. Do not crease the material.
Pull the membrane tight and always fasten loose edges mechanically with staples.
Staples can be used as long as they are covered by a second layer of membrane (e.g. where there is an overlap.
Cover any damage with a circular piece of UV 145FR. The patch must be at least 25 mm larger than the damaged area.

Gaps:

Maximum 15 mm gaps.
Maximum overall exposure 10% of the surface area.

Overlaps:

Vertical overlaps should be 50 mm minimum.
Horizontal overlaps should be 50 mm minimum.

Powerlon® UV 145 FR is a breathable façade membrane engineered to provide long-term protection for the building envelope in wall applications. Designed for installations behind open or closed ventilated rainscreens and facades. Powerlon® UV 145 FR is highly UV resistant with superior durability compared to conventional breather membranes.

Powerlon UV 145 FR is suitable for use behind open jointed gaps up to a maximum 15 mm, with an maximum overall exposure of 10%.
