Description

Pilkington Optifloat™ Clear is a high-quality, colourless or tinted float glass known for its outstanding environmental credentials.

All manufacturing processes for Pilkington Optifloat™ comply with the requirements of European Standard EN 572 Part 2. Performance is continuously monitored to maintain compliance with the high standards associated with NSG Group products.

Features and benefits:

  • Available in a wide range of thicknesses from 2 to 25 mm.
  • Suitable for use in insulating glass units alongside other glass products.
  • Can be toughened or laminated for safety and security glazing.
  • Compatible with acid etching, bevelling, screen printing, and decorative applications using materials such as lead or coloured film.
  • May be silvered for mirror production or coated with low-emissivity, solar control, or other functional coatings.
  • Special tinted variants help conserve energy, regulate solar gain, and enhance visual aesthetics.
  • Enables designs that maximise natural light, contributing to brighter, more spacious interior environments.
  • Offers a contemporary alternative to traditional materials in interior features such as screens, partitions, and furniture.
