PFC Corofil RSB2 Open State Cavity Barrier
Open state fire barrier to prevent the spread of fire for up to 60 minutes, for cavity widths of 51–300 mm.
Fixed within horizontal and vertical cavities 51–300 mm wide to allow a ventilation and drainage gap.
Open state cavity barrier used to prevent the spread of fire for up to 60 minutes.
Features and benefits:
- The intumescent element expands to form a fire barrier between the inner substrate and back of the outer leaf.
- Suitable for cavities from 51–300 mm wide using oriented strand board (OSB) faced timber stud, concrete blocks faced with cement board and masonry/ concrete substrates.
- Intumescent material expands to fill a continuous air gap of up to 25 mm.
