Insulated fire sleeve installed around metal and plastic pipes through non-load bearing wall and floor constructions.
PFC Corofil Insulated Fire Sleeves are a pipe closure device, installed around metal and plastic pipes to form a penetration seal, to reinstate the fire resistance performance of non load bearing wall and floor constructions where they have been provided with apertures for the penetration of services.
PFC Corofil Insulated Fire Sleeve is a flexible intumescent material, consisting primarily of mineral fibres, intercalated graphite and organic binders formed into a pipe sleeve. Grey in colour it has a glass fibre reinforced aluminium foil cladding around the perimeter along its full length. Supplied in various diameters to suit specific pipe sizes it has a nominal 25 mm thick wall. It can be cut down along its length to aid fitment and a strip of aluminium foil tape is used to seal the joint.
PFC Corofil Insulated Fire Sleeve have been tested in accordance with EN 1366-3 and offer fire resistance periods of up to EI240 for differing services and wall / floor constructions.
