Performance Timber Bifold Door - The Brecon - Sustainable Timber Doors

The Brecon performance bifolding doors are designed around triple glazed vacuum glass. This unit is considerably thinner than effective triple or quadruple glazing units, which allows the style and sections of a traditional British door profile to be replicated, while also achieving extreme energy efficiency. A highly traditional beading detail is incorporated to give the windows and doors a classically styled appearance.

Frontier Range of Performance Doors:

Designed to target the future build market, but without the typical downsides of super-efficient products, the Frontier range is an advanced window range. Constructed from FSC-Certified Accoya® with a proprietary vacuum cavity unit and a specially adapted Italian paint system the range combines energy efficiency and an extended low maintenance service life into a well-designed package suitable for most styles of building.

Brecon Performance Timber Bifolding Door:

• Vacuum cavity glazing combined into a proprietary triple glazed unit, delivering centre pane U-values of 0.4 W/m²K. Thinner unit allows for more traditional window dimensions and better aesthetics.
• The main access door has full multipoint locking, while every second junction between doors leafs also give top and bottom locking through a push pad in the centre of the door height.
• Key lockable ironmongery is included with a range of finishes. Magnet included to secure door leafs.
• Available in double or triple glazing, with the ability to deliver products with U-values of below 1.0 W/m²K.
• Proprietary timber cill with sacrificial step and concealed drainage system.
• Slender 22 mm glazing bars and thin profile of the beading reduce the perceived width of the sections. External bar designed to replicate the traditional appearance of putty pointing.
