Heritage timber bifolding doors with enhanced energy efficiency.
For listed properties or those in conservation areas.
Timber Heritage Bifolding Doors are part of the Heritage range and are suited for architects and specifiers working on listed building projects. These doors combine traditional features with modern design and materials, making them suitable for listed properties, and conservation areas where planning permission may be required.
The Timber Heritage Bifolding Doors feature an 8.3 mm thick vacuum cavity glazing, delivering U-values comparable to modern double glazing. This slim glazing is particularly suitable for use in conservation areas, as it eliminates double reflection. Additionally, the glazing is toughened for enhanced safety and security.
The main access door of these bifolding doors comes with full multipoint locking, while every second junction between door leaves also provides top and bottom locking through a push pad in the centre of the door height. The doors can be concertinaed to offer a full opening width, but a single or double access door can be used without opening the entire width.
The included key lockable ironmongery comes in a range of heritage finishes, ensuring an authentic aesthetic. Other features of the Timber Heritage Bifolding Doors include a proprietary cill with a concealed drainage system for efficient water management.
The doors are made from Accoya® Timber. They meet Part L and Part M compliance standards, ensuring energy efficiency and accessibility.
