Exposed roof surfaces.
Roofs of all shapes and sizes – whether flat, sloped or curved.
Adhered with an appropriate MOY membrane adhesive over suitable substrates, such as appropriate thermal insulation (e.g. Paratherm G tissue faced polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation or mineral wool) and load bearing substrates such as timber, sheet metal or concrete.

Description

Protan EX-A roof membrane is a high-quality polyester reinforced thermoplastic waterproofing membrane with high tensile and tear strength. The membrane is supplied with a 180 g/m² polyester fleece strongly laminated to the underside.

Features and benefits:

Contains stabilisers, which makes the product resistant to high and low temperatures, UV-resistant and flame retardant.
The textured surface provides increased friction and an aesthetic finish. Compared with membranes without a texture, this represents a significant safety factor for both during installation and maintenance.
Welded together using hot air which provides a homogenous joint.
Installation is safe without the use of an open flame.
Weather independent installation.
Protan membrane can be recycled and has a low carbon footprint.
