Application
Can be applied on most common substrates - the substrates should be smooth, dry and strong enough to support foot traffic. On rough surfaces a levelling layer must be installed beneath the AVCL.
Description
MOY PE (Polyethylene) air and vapour control layer is an unsupported, age resistant and UV stabilized vapour barrier made from sheet polyethylene.
The AVCL should be installed on the inner warm side of the construction, beneath the thermal insulation and in buildings with low/normal humidity levels. Continuous sealing of the joints and at abutments or penetrations, prevents air leakage and water vapour transmission into the roof construction.
