Mapefloor Comfort System AL


Suitable for coating floors in internal civil environments and in the service sector, such as:

  • Hospitals.
  • Museums.
  • Bars.
  • Shops.
  • Schools and nurseries.
  • Apartments.

Not suitable for constant exposure to high temperatures and thermal shock.


Self-levelling, elastic, smooth, coloured, aliphatic, polyurethane resin-based coating system with a total thickness of 2 mm.

Components (in order of application):

  • Primer SN – coated onto the substrate.
  • Quartz 0.5.
  • Mapefloor PU 461.
  • Mapefloor Finish 58 W – transparent finish which gives the surface a matt effect.

The transparency of the finishing product allows special aesthetic effects to be created in the base resin layer, e.g. the addition of coloured chips, or a mixture of shades formed by using different colours – consult manufacturer for information.

Consumption (per layer applied)

1° coat.

  • Primer SN: 0.7 kg/m² (may vary dependent on substrate preparation).
  • Quartz 0.5 (when sprinkled onto wet primer): 0.14 kg/m².
  • Quartz 0.5 (generally): 0.7–1 kg/m².

Self-levelling coating.

Mapefloor PU 461: 2.8 kg/m² (per 2 mm thick coat).

Finishing coat.

Mapefloor finish 58 W: 0.1–0.2 kg/m² (per coat).

Drying time

(At 20°C).

Ready for foot traffic after 12 hours and completely hardened after 7 days.

Abrasion resistance

(After 7 days at 23°C).

Taber test, to EN ISO 5470-1, 30 mg.

Impact sound reduction

(After 7 days at 23°C).

EN ISO 10140, 2 dB.

Adhesion strength

(After 7 days at 23°C).

To EN 13892-8, Mapefloor PU 461 component, >3.5 N/mm² (failure of concrete).

Elongation at break
