Application
For use with Simplex 4100ESi fire alarm control panels equipped with the 4098-6077AU/LIM MX Digital Loop Card.
Description
MX Loop Powered Sounder-Beacons use MX TECHNOLOGY communications for control and power. Indoor models are available in red or white.
The outdoor model is in red. With these loop powered sounder-beacons, supervision is accomplished using MX loop communications and the beacon and sounder can be separately activated from the MX Control Panel.
The Tone and Beacon flash rate is selected at the Sounder-Beacon using the MX 850EMT Engineering Management Tool.
Features and benefits:
- MX Loop powered with internal short-circuit isolator, separate voltage is not required
- Available for outdoor mounting in red
- Sounder-Beacons include a matching surface mount box with tamper resistant latch (release tool is included).
- Selectable output volume of 90 or 103 dB.
- Sounder-Beacons on the same MX Loop are synchronized when using the 4100ESi coding option
- Output tone patterns are selectable from 16 choices including: Temporal3 (880 Hz), Slow Whoop (500 to1200 Hz), conventional Bell, or Continuous
- Beacon flash rate selectable: 1/2Hz or 1Hz
- Address; sounder tone and volume; and beacon flash rate selections are easily programmed with the MX 850EMT Engineering Management Tool.
