EWI system with choice of brick slips or a coloured render for the decorative finish.
Suitable for new builds and refurbishment for brick or block work substrates.
The Licatatherm mineral wool EWI system has increased strength and crack resistance, due to the glass fibre mesh. Breathable and fully fire compliant, it is suitable for both new builds and refurbishment. Choose from brick slips or a coloured render for the decorative finish. EWI systems help improve the appearance and thermal efficiency of properties, reducing overall energy consumption.

INSTALLATION
Installer:
The system manufacturer, or a contractor approved by the system manufacturer. Installation shall be made strictly in accordance with Licata Building Systems Ltd instructions. Reference should be made to the project specification, method statement, drawings and all other relevant literature. Consult with LBS Ltd for latest literature and technical bulletins.
FINISHES
Primer:
Apply the Isolante LG Primer with a roller or brush to the dry base coat in an even pattern. Where possible always use the colour Primer to match the specified Topcoat finish. Allow to dry for a minimum of 12 hours.
Licata Silicone Render:
Thin coat is a ready mixed top coat for external use, highly breathable, high water resistance and excellent mechanical strength. Silicone render provides a high resistance to algae, fungi, mould and to atmospheric agents. The careful choice of acrylic binders and silicone, ensures good durability and a gloss finish with pearlescent effect to the water drops.
Licata Silicone Render is suitable as a decorative finish in all work requiring high permeability to water vapour.
Siloxan Color:
A coating made with water-dispersed siloxane binder paste, ready for use and which can be pigmented. Siloxan Color is specifically designed for work on new or existing facades, as well as for the decorative phase of reinforced skim coating, and in LicataTherm external solid insulation. Owing to its formula, Siloxan Color provides complete protection for the facade against rain and atmospheric agents. The special additives contained in the formula guarantees excellent protection against algal and mould growth.
Brick slips:
The brick slip systems can be used across a range of different applications and substrates. Suitable for internal and external application on both new build or refurbishment projects. The brick slip systems are durable and weather-resistant with a 10-year guarantee if installed by a Licata approved applicator. A choice of acrylic or clay brick slips are available.

Preparation | Approved proprietary biocidal wash. Surfaces must be sound, free from loose material and clean.Guidance for specification option: Where an adhesive system is used, the surfaces must be sound, free from loose material and clean. Where additional mechanical fixings are to be used, the substrate must be capable of sustaining the design loads. Existing substrates that show visible signs of algae and mold will require treating with an approved proprietary biocidal wash prior to any render works. |
