Frame cramp movement tie allowing for horizontal deflection.
Application
Movement ties installed at 300 mm vertical centres within movement joints between a masonry panel and a concrete or steel structure.
Description
Stainless steel Frame cramp movement tie to be used with Keyfix debonding sleeve in vertical movement joints to resist lateral wind loads and to allow for expansion and contraction of the masonry.
Features and benefits:
- Designed in accordance with PD 6697:2019.
- UKCA and CE accredited.
- Tie manufactured from grade 304 austenitic stainless steel (grade 316 available on request).
- Slotted upstand to provide 22 mm vertical adjustment during installation.
- Debonding sleeve manufactured from recycled polypropylene (rPP).
- Allows for expansion and contraction of the masonry whilst restraining lateral loads.
