Firetherm Intusil may be used to seal movement joints where a fire rating is required. It offers a movement capability of up to 50%.

Description

A modified low modulus silicone that is designed for use in external aggressive environments or in high movement building joints. It has high adhesion and is suitable for high sheen surfaces such as glass and aluminium. Intusil cannot be readily over-coated.

Features and benefits:

  • Tested at Exova BM Trada to BS EN 1366-3, BS EN 1366-4, BS 476-20 and BS 476-22.
  • Water-resistant seal.
  • Unaffected by moisture.
  • Fully tested for up to 240 minutes' integrity and insulation.
  • Available in easy to handle light weight tubes/ foil sausages.
  • Cures at a rate of 1 mm per day.
