For sealing the tolerance gap between the window or door frame and the outer cladding to provide a reliable and long lasting primary weather seal.
Application
Window, door and curtain wall perimeter primary weather seals. Sealing of other horizontal and vertical movement joints in the facade.
Store below 10°C in warm weather to prevent premature expansion. Illmod is inserted in to the joint. Do not stretch whilst applying. Apply direct from the roll.
Description
An open cell expanding PU foam tape impregnated with special resins and flame retardants in various widths and engineered sealing tolerances that resists even the most severe driving rain.
The material constantly expands and contracts with the structure. Illmod TP600 is also used in other horizontal and vertical movement joints where high movement is anticipated that is beyond the capability of a wet applied silicone sealant.

Execution | Manufacturer guidanceIn strict accordance with the manufacturers Technical Data Sheet. Illmod TP600 must be seated between two parallel solid surfaces. The joint depth must be at least equal to the width of tape selected. Do not exceed the stated sealing tolerance for any given size. Consideration for the residual thickness of the tape must be given when using in expansion /deflection joints, the tape cannot be compressed below its' pre-compressed state. |
