illbruck CT113 EPDM Membrane Adhesive
Description

A viscous contact adhesive based on synthetic rubber and resins, developed for the bonding of illbruck ME220 EPDM membranes, particularly in façade applications.

Features:

  • Adhesive accommodates a wide fluctuation in temperature from -20 to +80°C.
  • Cures within 20 minutes to form a high strength and elastomeric connection.
  • Excellent resistance to weathering and the ageing effects of UV exposure.
  • High initial adhesion strength.

Limitations:

Not suitable for:

  • Asphalt or bitumen.
  • Polystyrene.
  • PVC.

  • Cure time (approximate): 20 minutes.
  • Density (20°C): 0.82 g/cm³.
  • Peel strength: 50 N/ 25 mm.

Product Options

Primer:

The use of primer onto porous materials not only improves adhesion but also reduces consumption of adhesive and substantially extends the processing time, which is beneficial especially on hot summer days. The primer consists of diluting illbruck CT113 in ratio one part illbruck CT113 to 2–3 parts tremco AW421 (by volume).
