Description

IG’s Welded Masonry Support (WMS) is a ‘traditional’ rigid masonry support system comprising of fixed brackets welded to a stainless steel angle support shelf. It is designed to accommodate loads up to 22 kN/m and suitable for cavity widths from 50mm to 290mm. IG WMS is designed and manufactured to engineers’ specifications on a project basis and offers two planes of adjustability onsite. The material content of the system is optimised to ensure the most economical solution is designed.

Applications:.

Supports the outer leaf masonry material on steel or concrete framed structures. This allows for differential movement between sectional masonry panels in tall buildings and can be utilised instead of a lintel in larger openings over 3.6 metres (with suitable substrate).
