Hushlay 9 Sound Matting - Twin Layered Thin Acoustic Insulation

Hushlay 9 Soundmatting is a high performing, distinctive two layer thin acoustic floor product designed to reduce impact noise through floors.

The composition of the high performing deadening sheet and the frequency-tuned resilient layer ensures the product performs to very high levels in respect of reducing impact sound through a floor.

The mass in the deadening sheet helps to achieve a slight improvement to the passage of airborne noise too.

• Complies with Building Regulations Part E (England and Wales), Section 5 (Scotland) and Part G (Northern Ireland).
• Excellent impact sound performance levels due to its distinctive design.
• Easily cut and shaped.
• Suitable for over timber or concrete floor structures.
• Can be laid directly under carpet floor finishes.
• Can be used with the Hushlay 9 Soundmatting Perimeter Strips to isolate the carpet grippers from the floor.
• Can be used under engineered and laminate timber flooring when used in conjunction with the suitable Hush Timber layer.

• A circular saw can be used, if required, for large numbers of straight cuts.
