High mass, dry screed acoustic floor panel developed to reduce both airborne and impact noise performance in separating floor constructions.
Suitable for use separating floors in buildings where the construction is lightweight. Applications include:
Hush Gyp-Cem Panel 28 is only for use as an overlay board and is not suitable for spanning joists or battens. If installing over battens, a chipboard or plywood deck is required.
Hush Gyp-Cem Panel 28 is a high mass, acoustic dry screed panel designed to provide an acoustic flooring solution. It has been developed to perform well at reducing both airborne and impact noise in construction types deemed to be too lightweight.
Hush Gyp-Cem Panel 28 is effective because it increases mass levels in a lightweight structure - this means the airborne acoustic performance will be increased as well as impact performance.
Hush Gyp-Cem Panel 28 comprises an 18 mm tongued and grooved gypsum fibre particleboard and a Hush Felt 10 resilient layer.
