Hillmorton Cycle Stand - Galvanised

The VELOPA Hillmorton Cycle Stand is based on the popular Sheffield Cycle Stand. A familiar sight throughout the UK, the design allows the frame and wheel of the bicycle to be secured by the cyclists own lock. Each stand is suitable for securing two bicycles at once.

Features and benefits:

• The Hillmorton Cycle Stand has an integrated signage plate, with the Cycle Parking ‘P’ and cycle symbol signs incorporated into the design as standard. The lower edge of the signage plate sits 350 mm above the ground.
• Manufactured from galvanized mild steel; this practical and durable stand is ideal for busy public areas.
• Supplied galvanized and ragged as standard; flanged, colour coated and stainless steel versions are also available. RAL/BS numbers must be specified at time of order.
• Reflective tape can be added to maximise visibility.
• 750 x 800 mm (height x length).
• 48 mm diameter tube.
• 3 mm wall thickness (galvanized).
• 2 mm wall thickness (stainless).
• Signage Plate: 150 x 700 mm (height x length).
• 300 mm below ground (ragged only).

Installation:

• Flanged versions require bolting onto established concrete of at least 300 mm³ per leg.
• Ragged versions require setting with concrete into a hole of at least 300 x 300 x 350 mm (length x width x depth).
• Allow at least 800 mm between stands and a minimum of 450 mm from any obstruction.
