A fully developed economical sound insulation system between separating floors for use in refurbishment projects using timber joists.
The HD1019 Hush System 2003 Advanced system utilises several of Hush Acoustics' high performing sound insulation products including Hush-Panel 28 floating floor boards, Hush-Seal 20 and Hush-Slab 100 sound absorbers.
It enables separating floors/ceilings to meet the minimum Building Regulations requirements - Approved Document E (England & Wales), Section 5 (Scotland) and Part G (Northern Ireland). It also provides 1 hour fire resistance at ceiling level.
Installation process:
• Hush-Panel 28, with all T&G joints glued using Hush-Bond, is laid over 19mm plasterboard plank and an 18mm chipboard deck, with all perimeters sealed using Hush-Seal 20.
• Hush-Slab 100 is fitted between joists with Hush-Bar Plus System screw fixed to the underside of joists at 450mm centres.
• 2x layers of 15mm Soundbloc board are secured to Hush-Bar Plus System, with all perimeters sealed prior to skimming.

For use between separating floors for use in refurbishment projects using timber joists.
