HD1012 Hush System 2003
Acoustic separating floor system.
A fully developed economical sound insulation system between separating floors for use in refurbishment projects using timber joists.
Features:
- For use in refurbishment and conversion developments where a joisted structure is in place.
- Provides a one-hour fire resistance at ceiling level.
- Building Regulations Approved Document E (E&W), Technical Handbook Section 5 (Scotland) and Technical Handbook G (Northern Ireland) compliant.
Components:
- Hush Panel 28.
- Hush Bond - to glue joints.
- Hush 10 Joist Strips - secured to joist tops.
- Hush Seal 20 - to seal perimeters.
- Existing timber joists.
- Hush Slab 100 - fitted between the joists.
- Hush Bars - screw fixed to the underside of joists at 600 mm centres and at right angles.
- 12.5 mm thick Gyproc Soundbloc plasterboard - supplied by others.
- 15 mm thick Gyproc Fireline plasterboard - supplied by others.
