Application

Provides a thermal break to enable thermal separation of reinforced concrete components at the transition between the internal building structure and external components such as balconies. Loads acting on the balcony are safely transferred across the thermal break to be distributed into the building structure

Description

H-BAU ISOPRO® and ISOMAXX® systems provide thermally insulated connections for concrete balconies and walkways, thus creating a thermal break to meet part L of the Building Regulations (E&W). Available with up to 120 minutes of fire protection, the ISOPRO® system has an 80 mm thickness of insulation, and is the most commonly used system to prevent cold bridging, The ISOMAXX® system provides 120 mm of insulation for maximum thermal insulation performance.
