Application

Resilient Layer Insulation, suitable for floors with floating screeds, floors with floor joists, and for use as vibration insulation of plant rooms.


To install:

  • For concrete floors: Place under the screed.
  • For floors with floor joists: Install sandwiched between a timber floor base and the floating timber floor layer.

Description

Resilient Layer acoustic insulation designed to reduce sound transmission between floors. It's specifically made for use under high-quality concrete slabs, and blocks a high level of noise.


Available in two versions: Grei (7 mm - for traditional floors) and Upgrei (10 mm - for heavy duty floors).


Features and benefits:

  • Noise reduction: A unique combination of ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber and a patented process creates a mat that's both strong and flexible. The material absorbs impact sounds, making floors quieter.
  • Easy to install: The mat is designed to fit on any surface. Edges have a built-in adhesive overlap, so no extra tape is required to connect the rolls. This makes installation quick and simple.
  • Suitable for use with underfloor heating.
  • VOC-free.
  • Manufactured from recycled materials.
  • Impact sound reduction of up to 26 dB (Upgrei) or 24 dB (Grei).
