High levels of moisture and mould resistance, combined with superior dimensional stability make it an alternative to plywood and cement boards.

Glasroc H Tilebacker is simple to install: it has a pre-primed surface for tiling, is easy to cut and easy to fix. It is also simple to finish in areas where tiles are not installed.

The Glasroc H Tilebacker range includes both 12.5 and 6 mm thick boards: the 6 mm board can be used to create concave or convex structures with a minimum radius of 600 mm.

Euroclass (BS EN 13501-1:2007+A1:2009): A1.

Vapour resistance:

  • 6 mm board (BS EN 12572): 0.3 MNs/g.
  • 12.5 mm board (BS EN 12572): 0.625 MNs/g.
  • Mean water vapour resistance factor (µ): 10.

Limitations on use:

Glasroc H boards are not suitable for use in temperatures above 49°C, but can be subjected to freezing conditions without risk of damage. They are not suitable for any areas subjected to prolonged immersion, such as shower bases or swimming pools.
