Application

For roof pitches between 15–90°.

Description

Features and benefits:

  • Convenient operation – even with furniture placed beneath the window.
  • Easy to open and quick to close with the top control bar.
  • Low installation allows for more flexibility and better views.
  • One pull of top control bar allows background ventilation whilst the window remains securely closed. One further pull opens the window.
  • Rotates 180° and locks in place for ease of cleaning of the outer pane.

Energy efficiency installation collars:

  • Insulation collar – Code BDX: Optimizes the insulation around the roof window frame by reducing heat loss and eliminating cold bridges. BDX 2000 variant Includes underfelt collar BFX.
  • Underfelt collar – Code BFX: Ensures a weathertight seal between the roof window and the roof.
  • Vapour barrier collar – Code BBX: Provides vapour control and air permeability seal.


Flashing:

Flashings are available in materials and finishes to match roof window cladding.

  • Code EDL: For standard installation into slate and flat roofing materials up to 8 mm thick. Not suitable for interlocking slate.
  • Code EDN: For recessed installation into slate and flat roofing materials up to 8 mm thick. Not suitable for interlocking slate.
  • Code EDW: For standard installation into flat and profiled roofing materials up to 120 mm thick, including profiled sheeting and interlocking slates.
  • Code EDJ: For recessed installation into flat and profiled roofing materials up to 90 mm thick, including profiled sheeting and interlocking slates.
  • Code EDP: For standard installation into plain tiles up to 14 mm thick.
