Description

Polyurethane rainwater outlets and vents encased in galvanized steel housing, surrounded with fireproof insulation material to resist spread of fire to roof surface from below.

  • Integral galvanized steel flange for adhering vapour control membranes.
  • In the event of fire, the protection sleeve round connection pipe at base of outlet/ vent collapses, sealing the penetration and preventing fire spreading to roof surface.
  • Designed to prevent fire spreading from below according to DIN 18234 parts 3 & 4.
  • Suitable for warm roof constructions only. Requires Flow-therm extension unit or warm roof vent (with flange to suit roof finish), specified elsewhere.
  • Suitable for new build.
  • Supplier offers system design and flat roof drainage calculations, including dimensions and number of outlets, calculated to BS EN 12056.

- Firesafe (Universal):

  • Flow-therm Universal polyurethane versatile, medium sump outlet, encased in galvanized steel housing with fireproof insulation material and fire protection sleeve.
  • Vertical spigot outlet for connection to socketed downpipe.
  • Available from 75 mm to 125 mm diameter.
  • Supplied with dome leaf guard.
  • Suitable for new build warm roof constructions only.
  • Use with Flow-therm Universal extension unit with flange to suit roof finish (see Flow-therm Outlets and Vents with Felt, PVC, Screw-on, Atlantic or Atlantic EC16 flanges).
