Composite decking edging profile with a bullnosed finish, for curved edges of decks.
Application
The Flexible Bullnose edging can be used around the perimeter of a decking area to add a finishing touch. They can be used on straight runs or on curved edges with a 1.2m or greater. The flexible edgings can be used on the edges of steps as they are designed to resist wearing due to the thicker Lastane layer.
Installation:
The Flexible Bullnose Edgings should be fully supported along their length by the perimeter joist, they should have a 25mm bearing onto the joist with an overhang of 9mm from the front of the fascia. These profiles need to be fixed to the joist every 200-300mm centres using the Durafix fixings.
Description
Designed to resist high wear points and provide a nice curved edge to your deck, the structural core of Millboard Flexible edging is a blend of natural minerals bonded in a flexible polymer resin. Available in eleven colours, the top surface is a textured, resilient Lastane® layer which is chemically melded to the core and hand-tinted using 2K component pigments that resist fading and UV damage.
