Description

Firetite is a Class A2 fire-rated, clay mineral insulation ideal for new and refurbished cavity wall insulation. This innovative system combines the benefits of a hydrophobic and open-pore mineral insulation material with the fast, safe and seamless airtight process of a self-sealing system.

The world's first 3-component clay mineral in-situ insulation material; it has been developed over many years of extensive research to create an exclusive formulation.

The product's thermal, acoustic, environmental, sustainable, and long-lasting properties make it a valuable asset for obtaining BREEAM UK NC V6 credits. FIRETITE can contribute 30 credits to several categories, including Health and Wellbeing, Energy, Materials, Waste, and Innovation.

Its low energy consumption during production and installation, as well as its minimal waste disposal requirements enhance its sustainability credentials; whilst its low carbon footprint as determined within the Environmental Product Declaration (EPDBAS- 20180124-IBA1-EN), underscores its positive environmental impact.

This cavity wall insulation doesn't need separating from construction materials when being recycled. It has been tested and certified to GEV EMICODE emissions class: EC1 plus. This is the best rating possible and reflects that this product has very low emissions.
