The Fire Rated Meter Overbox is designed to provide the perfect solution to cover either new or damaged electricity meter boxes.
Application
- Suitable for walls where regular maintenance to services/ meters is required.
- Designed to be surface mounted on to a structural membrane of a block wall system.
Description
The Fire Rated Meter Overbox provides fire rating and convenient/secure access to your meters and other such equipment (for internal application only). The Overboxes are designed to either replace an existing Electrical Overbox or to be fitted over an existing meter box directly, where the original is built into the wall.

- This product has a frame depth of 70mm as standard, other depths available upon request.
- This panel has a Fire Test Certificate up to 1070x650mm in a wall application covered by Fire Certificate Number 435047 tested in accordance with BSEN 1634-1 from the meter side (rear).
- Anything above these sizes will be manufactured to the same construction as tested.
PLEASE NOTE: When ordering, we will require the dimensions of the structural opening/meter which needs to be covered.
