Application

  • For external wall cladding applications.

Description

The BCL 'TIMBER EFFECT' range has been designed to provide a range of non-combustible cladding panels, using realistic faux wood finishes. Polyurethane powder-coated aluminium systems create the varied and accurate look of solid wood panels, in a fully inert fire-resistant cladding panel system for external walls. Ideal for non-combustible regulation and replacement cladding requiring A1 or A2 classification to EN13501-1 or complying with Approved Document B cladding requirements for buildings over 18 m+ tall.

This is combined with BCL's design-flexible slatted cladding panel system, which offers:

  • SIDOS Compliant ‘Bomb-blast’ grids/ tethering available.
  • Flexible panel sizes to suit layouts.
  • Secret-fixings.
  • FSC® and PEFC certified.
  • High recycled content (typically up to 75%).
  • Bespoke fire retardant colour coating / matching.
  • Direct Installation service by BCL.


BCL also offer full blast, acoustic and fire testing options with UKAS accredited laboratories on all panel systems, ensuring compliance with Approved Document B and any other prevailing regulatory requirements.
