Rigid PIR insulation for full fill masonry cavity wall applications.
Eurowall + is a high performance rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam board for use in full fill masonry cavity wall applications. It features tongue and groove joints on all four edges, meaning that boards lock together to minimize thermal bridging and protect against driven rain. Eurowall + can help to achieve a 0.18 W/m²K U-value in a traditional 100 mm cavity, but still leaves space for bricklayers to use conventional installation techniques. A grey alkali-resistant facing goes against the inner leaf while a low emissivity multi-layer aluminium foil faces into the nominal 10 mm cavity.
Manufactured to ISO 9001 Quality and ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems
Manufactured using a blowing agent with zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and low global warming potential (GWP)
Low thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/m·K
Can help to achieve a 0.18 W/m²K U-value in a traditional 100 mm cavity
Tongue and groove profile to all four board edges
CE marked in accordance with harmonized European standard EN 13165
F30/150 Full fill cavity insulation
Standard product features
1190 x 450 mm.
Euroclass F (EN 13501-1), Class 1 (BS 476-7).
Exceeds 120 kPa at yield.
Tongue and groove on all four edges.
The BBA certificate for Eurowall + covers the use of the product in any exposure zone, but does not preclude the need to apply an external render coat (or other suitable finish) in zones where such application would be normal practice.
NHBC accepts the use of Eurowall +, other than in very severe exposure locations with fair-faced masonry, provided it is installed, used and maintained in accordance with the BBA certificate, in relation to NHBC Standards, Chapter 6.1, External masonry walls.
Eurowall + has been accepted as an LABC Registered Detail with certificate number EWW620.
With increasing levels of insulation it is important to ensure the continuity of of insulation at the junction of elements. To support the use of Eurowall +, Recticel Insulation has a range of linear thermal bridging details calculated to offer improved psi values for use in SAP calculations.
