A coated steel self-drilling screw for use with Simpson Strong-Tie connectors.
Application
Recommended for use with certain Simpson Strong-Tie connectors for fixing to steel up to 8 mm max. For indoor use.
Description
The E1B is a 6.1 mm diameter self-drilling screw with a #3 drill point and hex washer head. The drill point allows the screw to penetrate the steel without the need for a pilot hole. Suitable for use with hold-downs such as S/HDS. Driver bit not included.
