Self-adhering flashing tape.
Application
Suitable for flashing all kind of penetrations, on Tyvek®, AirGuard® and a multitude of other membranes. These penetrations could be: Ventilation pipes, vents, roof windows and chimneys, flashing from the inside (AVCL) and from the outside (underlay).
Description
A self-adhering flashing tape with a micro-creped Tyvek® top-sheet.
Features and benefits:
- Temperature range from -30 to +80°C (short exposure 100°C).
- Elongation approx. 150% (2.5 x original length).
- Thickness approx. 1.6 mm.
- UV resistance of four months.
- Product is designed for building industry, to be used on warm and cold side of the building envelope.
- Resistance to ageing, water, humidity, environmental cycling and chemical resistance.
- Installation temperature recommended greater than 4°C with an absolute limit of 0°C.
- A primer may be used for application temperatures below 0°C and non-ideal surface conditions.
Users must check that the Tyvek® FlexWrap NF is suitable for the support (adhesion, chemical compatibility, staining).
