Description

High-performance ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) membrane for use as water vapour control layer according to EN 13984. The membrane is available in a wide choice of widths which are bonded to substrates using DOWSIL™ Adhesive 300.

The membrane provides weather and airtight seal for fenestration application and can also be used to seal across adjacent building elements.

Features and benefits:

  • Good mechanical properties.
  • Flexible and tear-resistant.
  • Good movement capability, thus able to sustain thermal and structural movements of the building.
  • Resistant to ultraviolet (UV) light, temperature extremes, chemical pollutants and moisture.
  • Available in different widths to enable quick and easy installation.
  • High quality due to use of EPDM raw materials from Dow.

Applications:

Suitable for indoor and outdoor applications including:

  • Window installations
  • Ventilated facades.
  • Curtain wall installations.
