A rear lining is required for installation on lightweight walls (a minimum of 30 mm thickness is required). All load-bearing support products require adequate wall support to ensure they can withstand the forces required of them by law. A standard recommendation would be to reinforce the area holding a support product with 30–50 mm of marine ply. This would also be HEWI’s recommendation. |
