Clamping Fastener For Multiple Overlaps - SXL2-6.3 - Austenitic Stainless Steel Fasteners

SXL2-6.3 clamping fastener is made from A2/ A4 austenitic stainless steel and supplied with aluminum AV shaped washers. The head form types are available in the industry standard 8 mm hex head and Irius.

Sealing element:

AV-Shaped Washers:

The sealing element comprises of a light grey EPDM which is 3 mm thick and designed to achieve an airtight and watertight connection. The EPDM sealing element is permanently bonded (vulcanized) to a 1 mm aluminum V-Shaped backing washer.

Approvals:

• The SXL2-6,3 fastener is ETA approved (ETA number 10/0198) and is CE marked.
• Technical performance in terms of tensile and shear are all documented in the ETA's to enable the engineer to determine safe working loads in accordance with EuroNorms.
