Application

  • Specified in semi-detached houses, apartments and major projects.
  • For masonry cavity walls.

Description

Cavity stop sock that restricts the spread of smoke and flames within external masonry walls, as well as minimizing the effect of flanking noise pollution at wall junctions. The barriers are manufactured from low-resin, non-combustible rock fibre mineral wool insulation and are sleeved in polythene for on-site protection.


It is designed to be compression-fitted within a masonry cavity as the brick and block work progresses; no mechanical fixing is required.
