Description

Canadian Western Red Cedar is available in a wide range of profiles, widths and thicknesses offering flexibility in design.

A slow-grown, naturally durable species of timber with high resistance to decay.


  • A stable and lightweight timber, with a warmth complemented by a uniform fine grain which makes it easy to work with.
  • Left uncoated Canadian Western Red Cedar will naturally weather down to a silver/ grey colour.
  • The species is durable and does not need additional treatments or coatings applied.
  • Accepts stains and paints well if there is a desire to prolong a colour.
  • Can be fire treated to meet EuroClass B with pressure impregnation.
  • PEFC certified.
