Standard-setting highly polymer-modified cement-based powder with gel rheology.
Application
Use for:
- Fixing ceramics, porcelain and vitrified tiles, mosaics, most natural stones (excluding moisture sensitive/translucent stone), terrazzo, rigid foam insulating materials and brick slips in dry or wet interior and exterior environments.
- Uncalibrated Stone (Floors).
- Recommended for large format wall tiles, areas of total immersion in water e.g. swimming pools and showers.
- Installations subject to limited movement and vibration.
- Heated screeds.
Suitable surfaces:
- Plaster.
- Plasterboard.
- Lightweight blockwork/walling.
- Dense concrete/blockwork walling.
- Concrete; cement: sand screeds and rendering.
- BAL QUICKSET CEMENT: sand screeds and rendering.
- Asphalt (Flooring Grade Only).
- Fibre reinforced cement boards and lightweight tile backer boards.
- Existing glazed/unglazed ceramic tiles, quarry tiles, terrazzo and natural stone.
- Using onto BAL FLEXBONE 2Easy over Anhydrite/calcium sulfate and hemi-hydrate screed.
- Overlaid timber floors (min. 15 mm).
- Tongued and grooved floorboards with BAL RAPID-MAT/BAL FLEXBONE 2Easy.
- Undertile electrical heating systems.

Description
Standard-setting, highly polymer-modified, thixotropic, fluid with shape memory, water/frost-resistant cementitious tile adhesive for walls and floors.
Features and benefits:
- Extended open time of up to 60 minutes.
- Extended working time up to 3 hours, to avoid waste.
- Full wettability; thixotropic and fluid with shape memory.
- Suitability for use up to 20 mm thick (in limited areas).
- Highly polymer modified with S1 deformability.
- Use on walls and floors.
Not suitable for metal, painted, glass/ metal tiles with water-sensitive coating on back, plywood walls and tiling to existing glazed tiles or moisture sensitive natural stone. Large format thin panels (3 m x 1 m in size).
