B-95 Flexible Epoxy – Self-Levelling Flooring System

B-95 Flexible Epoxy is a two component epoxy, with a convenient 1:1 mixing ratio, designed for application on cleaned, horizontal concrete floors, asphalt-concrete floors or other floors where flexibility is required. It can be applied on cleaned, well adhering old epoxy floor coatings. The coating offers protection against abrasion and impact.

Performance/ properties:

  • Finish: Semi-gloss.
  • Density: 1.2 kg/L ± 0.1 (mixed product) depending on colour.
  • Film thickness: 500 micrometres dry, equals 500 micrometres wet.
  • Solids content: 98 % by volume (mixed product).
  • Viscosity: 110–135 KU / Krebs Stormer Units at 20°C (mixed product).
  • Drying times at 20°C/ 50% RH and at 10°C/ 60% RH: foot traffic 16 hours and 24 hours; light traffic 24 hours and 36 hours; to recoat 24 hours and 36 hours; full hardness 7 days and 14 days.
  • Heat resistance: 100°C (dry).

UV and chemical resistance:

If good UV and chemical resistance is required, Polyurethane Topcoat 9600 should be applied (except for 9610/9611 clear).


Remove oil, grease and all other surface contaminations by alkaline or (high pressure) steam cleaning. The surface to be clean and dry during application. Previously coated surfaces to be in sound condition and should be roughened in order to achieve optimal adhesion.

– Concrete:

  • New concrete to be cured and dry for at least 30 days prior to the application of the product. Concrete curing compounds to be removed completely. All laitance, loose or unsound concrete should be removed by vacuum blasting or etching with Rust-Oleum Surfa Etch 108.
  • Irregularities should be levelled with Rust-Oleum Scrapecoat 5170. Defects in the concrete should be repaired with Rust-Oleum Concrete Repair Mortar 5403 or Lightweight Repair Mortar 5140 directly after having been primed with Rust-Oleum Tack Primer 5120 (wet into wet).

– Steel:

  • Remove loose rust, mill scale and deteriorated coatings by hand or power tool cleaning to St 2/3 (ISO 8501-01: 1988). Large areas may be blast-cleaned to Sa 2 (ISO 8501-01: 1988), blast profile max. 50 micrometres.

– Asphalt-concrete:

  • New asphalt-concrete to cure and dry for at least 60 days prior to the application of the product. Defects in the surface should be repaired with the B95-SL, with kiln-dried quartz sand mixed into a ratio of approx. 1:1 in volume.

Standard product features


The mixed material is poured onto the cleaned floor and spread it out evenly with a wide comb, rake or a spreader with triangular teeth. Then the surface is treated with a de-aeration roller to release entrapped air and to promote the self levelling effect.

Product Options


Base 9508 is whitish-transparent. It is coloured by mixing with 2% of Rust-Oleum Colorants. Consult manufacturer for details.
