Application

Gypsol TS-20; a multi-purpose thin screeding solution because of its particular formulation, TS-20 liquid screed can be laid either bonded or unbonded over a polythene slip membrane. The product is in both commercial and domestic construction projects. Customers use this screed to produce a smooth, flat and level floor to form the sub-base for subsequent floor coverings for internal floors.

Constructions, where the screed would typically be found, are:

  • Houses.
  • Apartment schemes.
  • Schools.
  • Hospitals.
  • Offices.
  • Shops.

LKAB Mineral customers are specially trained screeders that use specialized equipment to place the screed. The Gypsol TS-20 offers a cost-effective method of leveling an existing floor slab, notably because the product has high strength and high resistance to cracking. As with all other Gypsol liquid screeds, TS-20 is a highly environmentally friendly alternative to cement-based screeds. Therefore, use this as a heat transfer medium for thin section underfloor heating systems, whether electric or warm water.

Description

Gypsol TS-20 can be placed at a depth of just 20 mm in either bonded or unbonded constructions.

Gypsol Binder is an integral component of Gypsol TS-20, a uniquely formulated liquid screed designed to offer a strong and durable thin topping to a solid substrate. Gypsol TS-20 can be laid either bonded or unbonded over a polythene membrane to provide a highly versatile design solution. Gypsol TS-20 can be used in many applications as a cost-effective alternative to bagged screeds to renovate existing rough concrete floors, level of pre-cast concrete planks, and where floor-to-ceiling heights is restricted. Gypsol TS-20 can, in some circumstances, be used in conjunction with low-profile underfloor heating systems subject to suitability.
