Gypsol Modular, a screeding solution, especially for use in modular construction either on or off-site particularly when you desire a lightweight construction.
This liquid screed is designed for modular construction, requiring a concrete feel and structure but where transport and site requirements dictate a lighter-weight structure. In particular for constructions where structural security is an essential design requirement. Some examples are:
Gypsol Modular can be used over lightweight steel frames as well as over timber. Also, the screed offers high early flexural strength, which allows:
The screed is suitable for the encapsulation of an underfloor heating system, either electric or warm water. The material can be used to produce a smooth, flat, and level floor to form the subbase for subsequent floor coverings for internal floors.
Specially trained screeders pump the screed into place by using specialized equipment. As a result, Gypsol Modular screed solution provides a cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative to cement-based screeds and timber floors. It can also be used with the unique Gypsol Rapide fast-drying additive to produce drying times of just 14 days at 50 mm deep in the correct drying conditions.
Gypsol Modular is suitable for on- and off-site modular construction, including residential and commercial properties with lightweight and durable floors.
Gypsol Binder is an integral component of Gypsol Modular, a liquid screed that provides a concrete feel to a timber or lightweight steel floor. Gypsol Modular can be used for both on-site and offsite construction processes and placed with or without an underfloor heating system. Offsite screeded modular units may be lifted using suitable lifting equipment after just 72 hours. Gypsol Modular is suitable for receiving all types of floor coverings.
