Description

Airlite is a high performance natural louvred ventilator. It is dual purpose, giving highly efficient natural ventilation as well as smoke control ventilation. It is suited either for extraction or as an inlet, as well as the entry of natural daylight for most kinds of industrial and commercial buildings. It can be fitted into most types of walls and roofs. Double weather seals ensure that air leakage and heat losses are greatly reduced when it is closed. It is tested to and in compliance with EN 12101-2 and is CE marked. It is made from tough, corrosion resistant aluminium alloy and is manufactured under the ISO 9001 quality and ISO 14001 environmental management standards.

Frame:

Manufactured from corrosion resistant aluminium alloy grade 3005 in accordance with EN 573-3, with stainless steel fixings.

Seals:

Double seals are used to reduce air leakage when closed.

Its performance varies with size and options selected:

Aerodynamic coefficient (Cv): Up to 0.67.

Reliability: RE 1000 (10,000 cycles).

Wind load: Up to 12,500 N/m².

Snow load: Up to 4,500 N/m².

Resistance to heat: B 300.

Low ambient temperature class: T(-25).

Materials resistance to fire: E (to EN 13501-1).

U value: 1.4–2.8 W/m²K.

Air permeability (medium size unit): 17.1 m³/m²/hr at 50 Pa.

Product Options

Wind baffles:

Wind baffles help the ventilator to be aerodynamically efficient. In the case of Airlite these comprise a movable element which disappears when the ventilator is closed.
