Recyclability

BCL panels are easily demountable to be re-purposed or recycled at end of service life. Panels are simply unscrewed/ demounted and each component (timber, polyester fabric, PPC aluminium) can be easily separated and recycled individually. Typically 90–95% of any system can be easily recycled.

Recycled content

As defined in clause 7.8 of BS EN ISO 14021

30 %

Guidance for specification option:

Typically. Varies depending on panel configuration. BCL can provide exact recycled / organic / carbon content on request, specific to each project / order.

Manufacturer guidance

Recycled content typically varies between 20% - 30% , depending on volume of timber used.

The recycled component comes from the Aluminium used within a panel system generally.

Carbon offsetting / reduction comes from using more timber (which is virgin organic and not recycled, lowering recycled content)

BCL can provide full recycled / organic & carbon analysis on every system order -- please contact BCL for more information on your system configuration.
