9166 Overhead Door Closer

A range of overhead door closers with fully adjustable power, backcheck and closing speed adjustments.

Units are designed for closing face fixing, and supplied with independent latch action, suitable for internal and external wood and metal doors.

Performance:

• Independently tested and complies with the requirements of BS EN 1154.
• Classification coding 4-8-2/4-1-1-3.
• CE marked.
• Type 9166 has been included in third party testing on timber fire door assemblies to BS EN 1634-1 and BS 476-22, providing fire resistance for 120 minutes.
• Type 9166 and 9166DC units are UL listed R11296.
• Power classification: BS EN Power class: 2–4.

Note: The delayed closing and hold open versions are not suitable for use with fire doors.
