9161 Overhead Door Closer

A range of overhead door closers with fully adjustable power and fully adjustable power and adjustable backcheck, latching and speed.

Units are designed for opening face fixing and supplied with an integral intumescent protected soffit fixing plate, designed for internal and external wood and metal doors.

Features and benefits:

• Independently tested and complies with the requirements of BS EN 1154.
• Classification coding 4-8-2/5-1-1-3.
• CE marked.
• Type 9161 has been included in third party testing on timber fire door assemblies to BS EN 1634-1 and BS 476-22, providing fire resistance for 120 minutes.
• Type 9161 & 9161DC units are UL listed R11296 Type 9161 unit is Certifire CF104 approved, for use on certain latched and unlatched assemblies and single and double doors.
• Power classification: BS EN Power class 2–5.

Note: The delayed closing and hold open versions are not suitable for use with fire doors.
