10-20 mm Lightweight Expanded Clay Aggregate (LECA) is a porous, lightweight substrate ideal for horticultural and SuDS applications. Its low bulk density (380 kg/m³) and high porosity support efficient drainage, aeration, and moisture retention, making it suitable for green roofs, hydroponics, and sports turf systems. LECA’s neutral pH (7.0) and chemical stability ensure compatibility with plant growth, while its high crush resistance (1.2 N/mm²) makes it durable for bioretention areas, rain gardens, and permeable landscaping.
